Office Assistant (Part-Time)
Exceptional entry level opportunity in a fast paced, small office. We are seeking the right person who is service oriented and who enjoyed global travels. Duties include general office duties, consierge duties, filing, assembly of client reports for meetings, calling clients to update client data and demonstrates the ability to work with minimum supervision. We require organizational skills, basic MS Office w. good outlook/email knowledge, minimum 40 wpm typing, good telephone skills, enthusiasm & humour. On resume please note experience processing, numeric keyboard speed, contact management software, investment or insurance interest or work experience and global travels. Team cross-train for upward mobility in mutual fund knowledge, Bill Good contact management/marketing, data and fund processing, personal tax return and invoice assistance ie. back up for a small office. We hire for attitude and train for skills. Part-time position 20-30 hours a week, flex hours 3-4 days a week. This position will appeal to either a part-time student or stay-at-home mom that wishes additional experience or to keep busy in helping service our clients world-wide. As a key member of Canada's leading one-stop tax/financial planning/investment service, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual with proven self-motivational, communication, strong organizational & team oriented skills, adaptable to change and who wishes to proceed past routine institutional duties with cross-training. You enjoy processing, funds and wish to extend your experience to increased client contract.
From 2-3 daily referrals, you will assist us to increase referral or client contact and assets. We have over 1000 clients in 50 countries including many in Canada, USA and Mexico. You are interested in building a long term client relationship within a small dynamic entrepreneurial firm. You will have an interest in the financial/investment fields. Perhaps you have offered support to top producers, but prefer a small business financial planning environment where you can develop personally and see changes happen to assist marketing to current client/prospect base. A long term commitment is required, as well as enthusiasm, attitude and drive within a team environment for personal and corporate growth, is more important to reward you for services beyond a routine 8AM to 5PM day. A friendly telephone and email rapport with clients and propects is required. Reporting to the President, you'll employ strategies to call and service referrals moving overseas and to Canadian overseas clients, using Bill Good Marketing support/seminars and contact management. You will meet both with clients also our corporate contacts to increase our referral base. Through team meetings you will be able to update and influence corporate direction. Looking to make a difference in a small global financial planning firm? We hire for attitude and train for skills. If you are keen and interested in training for Bill Good Contact Management system including client mail/email contact and cross training we are interested in you. This is an entry level position for an eager individual who is willing to work to get the job done. Skills required: computer/email literate, good telephone skills, accurate typing for data entry of financial planning notes with attention to detail and managing mail marketing campaigns and assist processing. You need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, basic web skills, contact management software and general office assistance. Flex, occasional shifts during mail campaigns. Opportunity to grow with fund processing. An interest in the financial services and prior travel experience is beneficial. General office duties/ filling. Exceptional computer software maintenance and service skills. Base salary with profit sharing and training.
Tax Return Coordinator / Invoice Preparation OPEN
Full-time employment, replacing current part-time. Join a leading Canadian one-stop global tax/financial planning/investment team to service clients in Canada and overseas. You are adaptable to change with attention to detail, cross training growth potential for retirement planning & asset management risk analysis using PlanPlus. Require tax return experience either tax preparation for CA or processing for CA using Greenpoint Tax software & invoice support, with data input for client investment plans. Investment interest an asset. Good attitude and able to work independently while adding value to client tax and international tax requirements. You will be required to do simple Canadian tax returns and coordinate with external international tax accountants. Profit sharing and bonus for exceptional commitment beyond 40hrs/week.

Jr. Office Assistant OPEN
Full-time employment position fund (optional part-time flex term 15-25 hours/week). Entry-level position. Training in Mutual Fund processing and data entry available.
This position, will appeal to a hands on service support individual having accurate and fast data entry and processing skills. Reporting to the President, this position will assume responsibilities in processing and office procedures. Enthusiasm, friendly, sense of humour with positive attitude for personal and corporate growth an asset. You will be expected to accurately process applications, enter data and verify funds and securities managed or not managed by our group, but as part of financial planning asset tracking. Follow up calls to service client problems and requests will be required. Currently we have daily downloads for client Canadian funds employing the RPM system. General office duties, fielding client calls. You are adaptable to change and interested in upgrading to client risk analysis and paraplanning. A keen interest in email, computer hardware and software would be an asset. Additional cross-training as back-up to other positions. In addition you will have the opportunity for direct mail marketing and to call/service domestic and overseas clients.
