Jenny Graduated from University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 2002 and received her Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in 2008 and has 10 years of work experience focused on project engineering in Alberta within the Oil & Gas sector. Born in Brunei Darussalam, a tiny nation on the island of Borneo, she moved to Malaysia Bintulu a coastal town on the island of Borneo in the central region of Sarawak, Malaysia when she was six. Her father was working for Malasia LNG until they moved to Canada when she was 16 at which point, he consulted on rotation to Malaysia, Shenzhen China, Sakhalin Island Rusia, Singapore, Oman, Netherlands, and Japan (to name a few..).

Jenny joined The Expatriate Group in 2009 providing administrative support to personal cross border income tax coordination and client intake functions. Following the birth of her second daughter in 2012, she returned to an engineering project role until 2015 at which time she returned to the financial services industry. She became licensed in the securities industry in 2017 upon completion of the CSC. 2019 completed insurance licensing (LLQP) and supports implementation of complete Wealth Management functions in her role as an Advisor with Assante Financial Management. Jenny works with Scott Masters to facilitate the delivery of insurance solutions for our clients’ more complex situations. These strategies are usedto help mitigate risk, protect assets, ensure a smooth transfer of estate assets, and build the financial foundation for future generations.

Jenny and her husband have 3 daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, swimming, and travelling with her family.
